Integration Engineer

Seeking an Integration Engineer in the Construction Engineering department for Blue Ridge Communications.

General duties will include:

• Establishing cable routing in the field for new or rebuilt cable systems


• Responsible for new line extension inquires


• Responsible for PenTeleData inquires


• Responsible for utility pole audits


• Gathering all field information and measurements needed for construction and system design


• Contacting customers with information pertaining to their extension


• Applying for pole permits


• Obtaining and Notarizing private right of ways, public permits and any additional required permits as needed


• Working with utility companies and state projects for pole relocation, make ready work and other duties associated with pole line work


• Working closely with system designers regarding fieldwork on a daily basis


• Performing other related duties and tasks as required


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.


• 3-5 Years' experience in cable design and construction design


• Established residency in Pennsylvania


• Valid PA Driver's license and good driving record


• Working knowledge of CAD


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel)


• Ability to read blueprints and/or map drawings


• General knowledge of construction pole line practices


• Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
