Intercompany General Labor

Reports to: Intercompany Forman

Job Overview: Measure, cut and bend rebar.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Utilize all standard operating procedures in relation to measuring, cutting and bending rebar.
• Ensure that product standards, both as to quality and productivity are met
• Processing paper work with accuracy and detail
• Apply all safety measures when working in the shop and with machines/ hand tools
• Maintain a positive attitude 

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull 75 lbs 
• Standing for long periods of time
• Working in all extreme weather while following company weather policies
• Working long days as needed
• Working Saturdays as needed
• Maintain a clean working environment

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Maintain and operate cutting torches, stick and wire welding equipment. Ability to read blueprints 3+ years in a relevant area- (Desired)

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: 

• Ability to receive/read instructions and implement specific instructions
• Ability to review prints
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to take and follow directions
• Ability to drive a fork truck (not required)
• General understanding of using and maintaining power tools safely and effectively
