Tutor Perini is the general contractor for the HART City Center Guideway and Stations project.  The scope of the approximately $1.66 billion contract includes the design and construction of six rail stations and approximately three miles of elevated rail guideway beginning just east of the Middle Street Transit Center Station and ending at the Civic Center Station, which will be located just east of the intersection of Halekauwila Street and South Street in downtown Honolulu. Project design is expected to begin immediately while construction is estimated to commence in the second half of 2025. Construction of this segment is expected to be substantially completed in 2030.

DESCRIPTION:

As an Interface Manager at Tutor Perini Corp., reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to engineer and coordinate the design of electrical systems for the project.

• Assist the Systems Project team with management of specialty subcontractors

• Assist with the preparation of submittals, shop drawings, and installation of system elements pre-construction and during construction

• Assist with the test program plan for system elements including the review of test procedures, factory tests, field tests

• Manage RFI process and procedures

• Ensure project files are being updated and maintained

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

• Experience with MicroStation Smart Plant

• Previous experience in design review/ checking of cable Schedules, block diagrams, equipment list, wiring diagrams and grounding drawings for transit projects

• Previous experience for large transit projects valued at over $1B

• Masters in Engineering is preferred
