CFO

Consultant

to provide strategic financial guidance to the firm to support several unintegrated businesses and lead the current acquisition to be folded into the portfolio as well within the greater Annapolis, MD area asking for

onsite attendance in the office

will have successfully demonstrated proven experience managing integration of acquired organizations, multiple location management, and provide full financial analysis and understanding of cost optimization and world class operations. Interim CFO Consultant Scope :
Analyze current financial processes and financial activities to optimize revenue, maintain strong internal controls and produce short- and long-range operating expense and capital plans.
Provide regular stakeholder communication and successfully manage the relationships between the private equity ownership, recent investor stake, and finance and accounting team members.
Maintain the current operational and financial progress and lead the existing staff with hands-on support through Month/Quarter-End Close, financial reporting, KPI results, and other senior leadership initiatives.
Prepare covenants, lending reports including all EBITDA adjustments, prepare investment status updates in flash format to C-Suite & Investors, and assist in other areas.
Provide robust and detailed financial and operational activities, KPI status, and routine monthly financial package results. Lead cash flow management, cost optimization, operational efficiency improvements, and manage the “story” around the monthly financial results.
Partner with banking partners to improve and maximize working capital, provide oversight to the accounting, financial analysis, treasury functions, and investment positions.
Manage and maintain strong working relationships with external auditors and tax groups.
Interim CFO Consultant Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or related field required.
CPA certification is

preferred
Mergers & Acquisitions and leading all activities

required .
10+ years’ minimum

required

of demonstrated experience leading fiscal operations and organizations in a CFO capacity.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and analytical skills at all levels of the organization.
Must have an executive presence to effectively work and interact with the C-Suite.
Must be approachable, collaborative and able to motivate and nurture a team.
Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
Ability to successfully function as a leader and senior member of the executive team.
Collaborative personality and inclusive decision-making culture expertise desired.
