Interim Fixed Assets Senior Accountant

Vaco has partnered with a sustainability focused manufacturing startup searching for an Interim Fixed Assets Senior Accountant to support various accounting functions. Job Title: Interim Fixed Assets Senior Accountant
Location: Gilbert, AZ (4 days a week in office)
Compensation: $50 - $55 per hour
Project Length: 4 months (potential for permanent hire)

Responsibilities:

Manage full cycle fixed asset accounting in accordance with GAAP
Calculate and record depreciation accurately and timely
Prepare financial reports related to fixed assets for internal and external users
Recommend opportunities for process improvements in fixed asset accounting
Maintain internal controls over fixed asset transactions

Qualifications:

BS in Accounting or Finance required
CPA preferred
3+ years of experience in fixed asset accounting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
