Job Title: Interior Civic Engagement Organizer

Position Overview
The Alaska Center Education Fund seeks a motivated community connector to advance our Democracy for All Alaskans campaign in the Fairbanks North Star Borough. This role is responsible for voter outreach and engagement, volunteer recruitment and relationship building, planning and supporting community events, and driving Alaskans to take action on voting rights issues. This role is focused on increasing voter turnout while building relationships with volunteers and creating/maintaining pathways for volunteers to engage in our campaigns and become a part of our organization. The ideal candidate must love making connections and have the ability to find common ground with people of all backgrounds. Some evening and weekend work is essential for this role to reach community members and be present for community events. This is a grant-funded, one-year position. Employment after the grant cycle is not guaranteed.

This is a full-time remote (some in-person work required) position that must be based in Fairbanks, North Pole, or the surrounding area. Salary is dependent on experience with a generous and competitive benefits package. All Alaska Center staff have access to professional development opportunities, including training and support.
