Job Title: Interior Designer
Reports to: Interior Design/Sales Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
This job requires PAID Relocation to the Florida Keys.
- We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Interior Designer.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking clients through the full design-build process and includes tasks related to project planning, design development, project management, and client communication.
- This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about interior design to bring luxury residential spaces to life in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications using Revit Autodesk software
- Select appropriate materials and finishes including but not limited to cabinetry, tile, electrical and plumbing fixtures, for each project
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design plans are implemented accurately
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field is not required but would be nice to have
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in Revit/Autodesk software for creating detailed drawings and renderings is required
- Experience with cabinetry design using 2020 Design or similar cabinetry modeling software is a plus
- Strong knowledge of color theory, space planning, and materials selection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- Ability to manage budgets and adhere to project timelines
- Experience in sales or business development is a plus
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
