Interior Foreman - COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

As an Interior Foreman in our commercial construction team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the interior construction activities of our projects. This position demands a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a proven track record in commercial construction, a deep understanding of interior construction processes, and excellent leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of construction plans


• Implement and manage project schedules ensuring timely completion of interior phases 

Supervision & Leadership

• Lead and supervise a team of interior construction workers providing guidance and support to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols


• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment promoting teamwork and accountability

Quality Control

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the highest quality standards are met in all construction activities


• Identify and address any deviations from project specifications, working closely with the project team to implement corrective measures

Resource Management

• Efficiently allocate labor equipment and materials to maximize productivity and meet goals


• Monitor and control project expenses related to interior construction keeping costs within budgetary constraints

Communication

• Maintain open and clear communication channels with project stakeholders providing regular updates on progress challenges and solutions


• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of interior construction

Qualification - Potential candidates must be willing to submit to a preemployment drug screening to be considered for hire

• Experience in commercial construction, with a focus on interior construction projects


• In-depth knowledge of interior construction processes, materials, and methods


• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities


• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment


• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team


• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and problem solving skills


• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents


• Knowledge of construction management software is a plus


• Potential candidates must be willing to submit to a preemployment drug screening to be considered for hire


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Must be able to individually lift, push, or pull materials & heavy equipment up to 100 pounds
