Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Intermediate Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects in the structural engineering and architecture sectors. As an Intermediate Drafter, you will play a pivotal role in our design process, working closely with our engineers and architects to create detailed, accurate blueprints and technical drawings. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to apply their expertise to a range of exciting challenges.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers and architects to prepare and revise technical drawings and blueprints.
Translate conceptual designs into detailed construction plans, ensuring they comply with project specifications, design standards, and safety regulations.
Utilize advanced drafting software to create 2D and 3D models.
Conduct regular quality control checks to identify and correct errors in drawings.
Assist in the preparation of design documentation, including specifications, reports, and proposals.
Participate in project meetings, providing drafting and design insights as needed.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in drafting technology.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, with a focus on structural engineering and architecture.
Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and architectural styles.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to design challenges.
A professional portfolio showcasing previous drafting projects is highly desirable.
