About the Role:

We are looking for an Intermediate Frontend Developer to join our R&D Department within one of our three dedicated development teams. This role will be focused on enhancing and maintaining existing functionalities and responding to customer specific change requests.

You will work closely with Account Management, Product Management, and Professional Services, playing a crucial role in ensuring our solutions evolve to meet real-world needs in the transport logistics industry

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and optimize current front-end components of our software.
• Implement customer change requests in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve software bugs in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the ongoing modernization of our product suite.
• Participate in code reviews and team planning sessions.

Projects You'll Work On

• You’ll be working across the entire CADIS product suite, contributing to both incremental improvements and long-term evolution of our platform.

Skills & Experience

Must Have Technical Skills

• Experience with React and TypeScript in production projects
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Ability to analyze and fix bugs
• Proficient in Node.js and npm/yarn
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development
• Working with REST APIs
• Experience with linting and code quality tools (e.g., ESLint)
• Practical experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate coding, code review, and troubleshooting
• Ability to critically assess, adapt, and integrate AI-generated code or suggestions into maintainable solutions
• Familiarity with prompt engineering to obtain relevant and high-quality results from AI assistants

Nice-to-have technical skills:

• Experience with test automation (e.g., TestCafe)
• Experience with documentation tools (e.g., AsciiDoc, Storybook)
• Knowledge of build tools and modern frontend workflows
• Experience with mock servers (e.g., json-server)
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes
• Experience working with large, modular codebases
• Understanding of UX/UI design
• Experience sharing best practices for AI-assisted development within a team
• Experience in customizing or configuring AI tools to fit project or team needs
