We are seeking an intern to support our Space HR Business Partner team at our Canoga Park, California site. Interns are exposed to on-the-job business challenges as they work through tasks both in a team and individual setting. They have the opportunity to participate in training and work on special projects.
Essential Functions:
Working side-by-side with experienced business professionals, the HR Intern provides valuable support in carrying out the day-to-day HR activities as a member of the HR Space Propulsion & Power Systems (SP&PS) HR team. Responsibilities may include supporting tasks for projects within the HR Business Partner team in the areas of business strategy, diversity & inclusion, organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy and planning, compensation, and/or employee relations.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or other related major and be returning to school upon completion of the assignment.
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Rising Junior status or higher
• Strong academic performance
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Software applications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter and have the ability to work with little direction
