Internal Auditor - Energetic Workplace

Major responsibilities

- On a regular basis, you will execute follow-up on both open and past due internal audit and SOX observations

- Conduct internal audits and SOX testing; to include compliance with policies and procedures and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of the internal control structure

- Create audit observations and recommendations to management both verbally and in writing

- Assist with the building of multiple audit programs by resolving the objective, scope, and work program of individual audits

- Efficiently relay project status to members of the team

- Help coordinate third-party compliance assessments and audits

- Pinpoint key risks and integrity controls by mapping and recording processes

- Complete special research and projects when help is needed

- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications

- Public audit or consulting experience; corporate internal audit experience also acceptable

- Solid understanding of SOX

- 3+ years of public audit or consulting experience; corporate internal audit experience also acceptable
