Job Description - Internal - Embroidery Lead Team Member
INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY
The Embroidery Lead Team member is responsible for overseeing Embroidery teammates to ensure they are meeting and exceeding company standards for production and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate to the command center which machines need work
Assist operators with order / machine issues
Observe and correct embroidery team members bad habits
Report machine issues to technical services
Approve logo quality for groups <6dz
Bring first run logos to management for approval on groups >6dz
Key and pick ding replacements
Ensure operators are performing machine maintenance (preferably within first ten minutes of shift start)
Ensure team members are processing orders up until ten minutes of the end of the shift
Ensure that team members are utilizing the last ten minutes of the shift to clean their work area
Complete team cover sheet
Deliver any logo issues to the Art department
Fill out edit slips
Deliver any order issues to the customer service department
Watch for the machine light tower lights to address the team members concern quickly in order to minimize machine idle time
Ensure excellent quality
Assist team members with any task that is needed
Motivate and interact with embroidery team members and management
Additional duties as assignedEducation and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Embroidery machine experience required
Manufacturing experience required
Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to read instructions in English
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to solve problems
Ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
Must possess initiative, energy and drive
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management
Possess a positive attitude
Ability to perform quality control

Close and distance vision.
Color vision.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to move around the facility
Ability to move, reach, kneel and crouch
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed
Work Environment
Exposure to moderate noise level.
Exposure to loud noise level.
Schedule
7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7 am-noon) as required
