  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, initiative, and technical excellence within engineering squads.

  • Coach engineers on best practices in ASME design, analytical methods, documentation, and customer communication.

  • Oversee development plans and succession growth for Sr. Project Engineers under their mentorship.

  • Strategic & Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Quality, Manufacturing, and Business Development to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs.

  • Support strategic bids and proposals by defining technical scope, estimating engineering effort, and reviewing pricing inputs.

  • Serve as a customer-facing technical expert, representing JFT's engineering capabilities in design reviews, audits, and field installations.

  • Drive innovation initiatives across squads, including modular design principles, digital workflows, and CAD automation to reduce design hours and improve traceability.

  • Provide technical input into Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) programs and Lessons Learned documentation.

  • Champion a culture of technical integrity and safety across all design activities.

Process Development & Continuous Improvement

  • Own and evolve JFT's Engineering Design Process, templates, and controlled document structure for engineering deliverables.

  • Drive initiatives that reduce engineering cycle time and improve cost predictability through reusable design content and automated documentation.

  • Develop and maintain internal training materials, engineering handbooks, and mentorship programs.
