Position: Utilities Worker
Department: Utilities & Lot Operations
Reports To: Utilities Supervisor, Walter Lawrence
Location: Hamilton Facility – Atlanta, GA

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 6:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.


• Off Days: Wednesday & Thursday

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday: 6:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.


• Off Days: Thursday & Friday

Compensation: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Internal Candidate Requirements: 

This is an internal opportunity for current employees interested in transitioning into the Utilities Worker role.

All interested candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Must be in good standing (no active disciplinary actions)


• Must demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality


• Must have a positive performance record


• Must receive a recommendation/approval from their current manager

Job Summary

A National Transit, LLC / MARTA Mobility is seeking a dedicated Utilities Worker to join our team! This dual-role position requires flexibility, as it involves responsibilities across both utilities and lot operations. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet is fueled, maintained, clean, and ready for service each day.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Fueling

• Fuel all vehicles and replenish necessary fluids.


• Accurately log and record fueling and fluid replenishment information.

Vehicle Handling

• Safely drive, maneuver, and park vehicles.

Maintenance Support

• Perform light maintenance tasks in shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.


• Report any maintenance issues promptly.

Vehicle Cleaning

• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards.

Additional Tasks

• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Valid driver’s license.


• Ability to operate and maneuver various types of vehicles.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge preferred.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Good communication skills.
