Job Description - INTERNAL ONLY - Lead Membership Sales Representative

Lead Membership Sales Representative
Location: Fairlawn
Reports to: Clinic Business Management



About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated, high-performing sales professional to join our team as a Lead Membership Sales Representative. In this role, you’ll act as a peer leader—supporting your team, helping them hit sales targets, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. You’ll reinforce sales training, address customer concerns, and be a positive influence for both team members and clients. You’ll also be expected to report any policy or performance issues to management, but you won’t have direct supervisory responsibilities.



What You’ll Do



  • Promote the benefits of memberships and service enhancements (like Massage, LED therapy, stretching, and facials) to clients.

  • Encourage sales of gift cards and retail products that support customer wellness goals.

  • Help with prospecting and outreach to new potential members.

  • Guide and assist the team with closing memberships and upselling enhancements.

  • Inspire the team to consistently meet and exceed sales goals.

  • Support new hires and act as a resource for sales techniques and membership programs.

  • Handle customer service issues, address complaints, and act as a liaison between customers and management.

  • Monitor staff compliance with company protocols and report issues to management promptly.

  • Other duties, as assigned by the clinic Owner / Franchisee.


What We’re Looking For



  • At least 2 years of retail or sales experience with a track record of proven results.

  • Great customer service skills—you enjoy engaging with people and resolving issues.

  • Experience motivating and influencing peers in a team setting.

  • High integrity and professionalism; you keep confidential information private.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work well under pressure.

  • Comfortable with basic math, computer systems, and handling cash transactions.

  • High standards for your own appearance and work habits.


General Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Able to stand and sit for extended periods, and lift up to 10 pounds (boxes, supplies, retail products).

  • Fast-paced, customer-focused work environment—bring your professionalism and leave the drama at the door.


Scheduling & Compensation



  • Flexibility to work a mix of morning, evening, and weekend shifts, including peak times and promotional events.

  • Full-time or part-time positions available based on business needs.

  • Hourly pay plus bonuses and commissions.

  • Additional compensation above the base rate for this lead role.

Supervisory Responsibilities



  • This is a peer leadership role—no direct supervisory duties, but you will be expected to report performance or policy concerns to management.
