Job Description - INTERNAL ONLY - Regional Manager - Greenville/Augusta/Columbia

This Regional Manager position will be covering Greenville/Augusta/Columbia


Summary:



The Regional Manager is responsible for growing their territory by adding customers, servicing customer and trade-partner relationships, ensuring production needs are met, developing their employees, and keeping costs low. The Regional Manager is expected to assert themselves in a wide variety of matters from sales and growth to management of direct reports.



Essential functions:




  •  Maintain RESNET/HERS certification

  •  Maintain Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record

  •  Schedule daily field operations

  • Verify accuracy of reporting of field inspections

  • Maintain employee engagement for region

  • Communicate professionally with stakeholders

  • Train, Direct and Supervise direct reports

  • Complete inspections when necessary to keep team on schedule



Competencies:




  •  In depth knowledge of Performance Point’s scopes of work 

  •  Ability to troubleshoot QI, energy, and comfort problems

  •  Ability to easily talk about features and benefits of ratings

  • Strong communication skills

  • Willingness to learn new skills




Does this role have direct reports? Yes. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching,


 


Work environment: The Regional Managers job involves working overhead, lifting heavy objects, working with sharp tools, working in hot and cold environments, working off ladders, repetitive climbing up and reaching up, and exposure to hazards found on construction sites and older existing buildings, maintaining company equipment, and frequently driving long distances.



Additional requirements: All employees are expected to sign a confidentiality/non-compete agreement, maintain a vehicle for work purposes, driver’s license, auto insurance,, willingness to work with a high production team. All employees are expected to maintain the highest level of professional ethics, personal hygiene, and appearance. It is expected that all Performance Point employees be able to recognize the dangers associated with construction sites, existing buildings, driving, and their job tasks and put personal safety as the highest priority. All employees must take pride in their ability to serve our customers and view that relationship as a privilege. Residential new construction work is somewhat seasonal, as such there will be times of the year when working longer hours are expected and vacation time is less available, but there are times with shorter working hours and vacation time is readily available.
