About this role:
The Team Leader collaborates with the Clinical Supervisor, Assistant Director, and Program Director to ensure the quality of clinical services and compliance of program services with Department of Public Health Operational Standards. As part of the program supervisory team, the Team Leader models, supports, and promotes the agency's mission, values, and vision.
We are looking for people who have:
- Must have required degree and requirements as defined in Early Intervention Operational Standards.
- 2+ years of EI experience and demonstrate competence in all EI policies, procedures and systems.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates leadership and mentoring skills
- Able to meet required competency level in Microsoft Office Software.
The physical requirements for this role:
- Ability to meet with families and/or individuals within their homes/community.
- Frequent movement including but not limited to extended periods of kneeling, bending, lifting (up to 40 pounds unassisted), pushing, pulling and climbing stairs to conduct visits and interact with children and families
- Moderate travel required.
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Participate in professional development activities and training necessary to maintain relevant certification/licensure in accordance with own professional discipline
- Frequent phone use required.
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time.
In this role, all those associated with service coordination with the addition of, you'll get to:
All those associated with the role of EI Specialist with the addition of:
- Provides support and mentorship to designated team members through scheduled support visits and supervision meetings as well as in-home consultations / co-treats / IFSP review.
- Assists program leadership team in completing introductory and annual Collaborative Performance Reviews for team members by providing documentation as it related to supervisory activities.
- Facilitates Peer Case Review, IFSP Reviews, and assists with orientation process.
- In conjunction with Program Director and/or Assistant Director and/ or Clinical Supervisor, facilitates staff training encompassing assessment, IFSP development, home/community-based services and other relevant topics (e.g. functional outcomes, natural environments).
- In collaboration with program leadership team, provide oversight and support of staff to attain and maintain expected productivity.
- Assumes administrative responsibilities in absence of Clinical Supervisor, Assistant Director and Program Director.
- 58% Productivity expectation comprised of 50% caseload and 8% supervisory activities.
- Performs other job-related responsibilities as assigned
