Job Description - Internal Posting- Painter-Lowes Paint Line-1st Shift

Job Description

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to: Spray paint a variety of parts to produce

appropriate finishes on doors.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Ensure quality of product by performing visual inspection of all materials prior to painting

 Perform the painting operations by spraying parts per the work instructions

 Ability to troubleshoot solutions for equipment issues and apply them

 Consistently meet all quality requirements

 Ability to maintain a consistent, steady pace of work

 Ensure quality of paint and thinners used by performing viscosity checks and keeping a log

of daily checks

 Ability to mix chemicals and stains as required per product specifications

 Willingness to be flexible and rotate w/ other team members as needed

o Assist with Paint Kitchen Attendant responsibilities as needed

 Maintain a clean and organized work area

Successful candidates will have:

 High School Diploma or GED

 Good computer skills and knowledge

 Excellent verbal & written communication skills

 No Felony conviction in past 7 year

 Attention to detail

 Experience with air-power hand tools and paint guns desired

 Ability to work with team to meet common goals

Qualification Requirements - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the

essential functions of the job. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and

/ or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to

perform the principal accountabilities.

Physical Demands: Physical demands of performing the duties of this job include, but are not limited to,

occasionally lifting/handling up to >75 lbs, frequently lifting/handling up to <=50 lbs, and constantly

lifting/handling up to <=25 lbs.

Non-Physical Demands: Include but are not limited to time pressures, frequent change of tasks, irregular

work schedule/overtime, multi-tasking, working closely with others as a team, and tedious or exacting work.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical

hazards, noise and or vibration on a daily basis.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required with six months to one year related

experience preferred.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole

numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills: Computer literate.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write correspondence

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $45,780 USD - $54,912 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
