As an FOH Assistant Manager, you will assist in overseeing the store's day-to-day operations. You are expected to provide leadership during shifts and assist the Manager on Duty in running successful shifts.

As an Assistant Manager, you are responsible for helping ensure that both Front of House and Back of House are operating according to proper procedures. A successful FOH Assistant Manager must be mature, patient, professional, and committed to maintaining a growth mindset.

In addition to these qualities, you are expected to have a willingness to provide effective feedback to all Team Members. You must lead enthusiastically and passionately by example as you help develop a strong team that maintains a high standard of excellence.

Requirements

• Be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week


• Be available for a minimum of 6 peak and 10 non-peak periods per week


• Must have served in the Senior Trainer role for a minimum of three months


• Become fully trained in all FOH positions


• Have a basic understanding of BOH operations


• Complete all required Pathway training plans

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist Managers and the Director Team during each shift


• Run shifts during non-peak periods


• Ensure food safety requirements and operational standards are met daily


• Assist in completing Safe Dailies and eRQAs


• Ensure all catering orders are prepared accurately and ready to go out on time


• Identify and solve problems before they affect the speed of service or guest experience


• Assist in training new Team Members to ensure they are educated on proper Chick-fil-A systems and our standards of hospitality


• Provide effective feedback to Team Members, both positive and corrective


• Ensure KitchenIQ checklists are completed


• Maintain knowledge of all FOH Specialist positions and provide support to Specialists as needed


• Count down register tills and deposit money into the smart safe


• Ensure register drawers are counted correctly


• Take and return guest phone calls


• Handle guest concerns and complaints in a kind and professional manner, always striving to create REMARKable experiences for every guest
