International Order Management SpecialistFull -Time | In -OfficeWe are seeking an International Order Management Specialist to become the primary point of contact for our global distributor network. This position plays a critical role in ensuring international orders are processed accurately; shipments move efficiently across the globe, and export documentation meets all compliance requirements.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast -paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail truly matters.Salary: $50,000 - 55,000 per year depending on experience.What You'll DoAs our International Order Management Specialist, you'll manage the complete international order process from purchase order through final delivery.Responsibilities include:
- Process international customer orders accurately within our ERP system
- Review purchase orders for pricing, quantities, shipping instructions, and accuracy
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Communicate order status and shipment updates with international distributors
- Manage backorders, order revisions, and partial shipments
- Obtain international freight quotations and select cost -effective shipping methods
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers
- Prepare export documentation including:
- Commercial invoices
- Packing lists
- Certificates of Origin
- Bills of Lading
- Air Waybills
- AES/EEI filings
- Letters of Credit documentation
- Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and destination country import requirements
- Determine appropriate HTS classifications
- Track shipments and resolve customs or transportation issues
- Prepare customer quotations including freight, duties, and insurance
- Build strong relationships with international distributor partners
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in international order management, export coordination, or international logistics
- Experience working within an ERP system
- Strong understanding of international shipping documentation
- Working knowledge of Incoterms
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Letters of Credit
- Knowledge of EAR and ITAR regulations
- Experience filing AES/EEI
- Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
