Job Description - International Tax Manager

Position Description:
The International Tax Manager is responsible for minimizing United States (U.S.) federal taxes on worldwide income and legal entity income taxes through effective tax planning and ensuring income tax returns are prepared in a manner that complies with the tax laws. This position will minimize U.S./foreign tax assessments by directly supporting our positions and foreign subsidiaries with defending their cross-border activity (transfer pricing) during external tax audits. Ensure federal international tax expense is properly determined and reported in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position is used to develop future potential Tax Leadership.

Principal Responsibilities :
•Review, prepare or provide technical expertise on U.S. international compliance including, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, subpart F, Form 1118, Form 5471, E&P, PTEP and any other U.S. international compliance.
•Review quarterly projections of U.S. tax impact of international transactions to ensure prepared in accordance with ASC 740 income tax calculations.
•Review and analyze Country-by-Country report Pillar Two Global Minimum Tax and other BEPS reporting requirements.
•Maintain an understanding of laws and regulations for tax reporting implications and can present concise conclusions on tax technical issues as required.
•Monitor and ensure compliance with global transfer pricing policies and inter company activity.
•Assist with tax audits and related matters (income tax, transfer pricing).
•Ensures tax processes comply with SOX requirements.
•Assist with special projects as required.
•Management and development of assigned team members.

Required Experience and Education:
•10 or more years of experience preferably in corporate tax compliance in a public accounting, manufacturing or consumer goods industry
•Knowledge of international/federal income tax law, international tax provision and U.S. international tax compliance calculations, tax treaties, transfer pricing with large multinational corporation
•Research complex international tax issues
•Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP deferred tax accounting rules
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Demonstrate ethical and moral behavior, act with integrity
•Able to analyze and grasp a situation quickly from different perspectives and create well-reasoned solutions
•Experience working in a team environment

Desired Personal Skills/Attributes/and Qualifications:
•Master's degree in accounting, or Finance, CPA, Master of Tax (MBA, LLM or other advanced degree)
•Visible and passionate leader
•Develops team members through coaching and feedback
•Highly skilled computer literacy (i.e., SAP, Corptax, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
