Job Description - International Tax Policy and Planning Analyst
Assisting in the analysis of US and international tax laws, as applicable, to identify tax opportunities and risks of intercompany lending; ensure intercompany lending/borrowing arrangements are coordinated with transfer pricing team for: pricing, note valuation, assessing risk, and forecasting profit plan; coordinate global local tax team approvals of refinancings and repayments of intercompany loans; and ensure electronic project files (including project management plans) and internal tax resource databases for Tax-Treasury are updated. Assist with special planning and strategy projects including legal entity rationalization initiatives. Analyze and research US and international tax laws, as applicable, to identify tax opportunities and risks for tax projects and tax policy proposals. Prepare memoranda, spreadsheets, and presentations for discussions of strategic tax projects and tax policy proposals with management. Coordinate tax projects with both internal tax and cross-functional resources located both within and outside the US. Assist with communications to senior management of newly proposed and enacted tax laws worldwide. Assist with the company's compliance with new tax laws resulting from the implementation of OECD, UN, EU, and other global tax policy initiatives. Coordinate and communicate with external tax advisors. Organize and maintain electronic project files and internal tax resource database. Maintain a detailed task list to ensure all projects are completed timely and with the highest quality standards. Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required. Minimum of 2 years of US federal/international tax or accounting experience required. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
