Job Description - Internet Sales Consultant




 

Do you love working with new technologies and innovative products? We are seeking energetic individuals to join our unique and fast-paced Internet Sales team. Applicant with prior experience in internet sales at a high-volume automotive dealership is a plus. This position offers room to grow and build a long-term career in automotive sales.

 

Internet Sales Consultant should be skilled at monitoring and facilitating internet leads, determining customer’s vehicle needs, maintaining an excellent follow up system that encourages repeat & referral business for Mossy. The ideal employee should understand the terminology of the Automotive business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product, features, and accessories including vehicle delivery to customers.

Employees in this position will primarily be paid commissions, however they will also be paid the applicable minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods.  Commission amounts vary based on performance, with the expected average annual commission earnings of approx. $65,000 to $130,000.

Responsibilities



  • Answer customer calls and establish follows-up with sales appointments



  • Respond quickly to internet, phone and live chat inquiries using email, phone and live chat scripts and templates



  • Provide customers with initial product information



  • Apply ethical selling techniques; complying with all company, DMV, State and Federal requirements



  • Present initial financing options based on customer needs



  • Follow up with leads old and new



  • Participate in team & process development sessions – keeping positive relationships with teammates, sales teams and dealership management



  • Utilize CRM tracking system daily



Qualifications



  • At least one previous role based in strong sales experience



  • Team player attitude



  • Prompt and courteous



  • Enthusiastic personality



  • Must have strong computer skills



  • Excellent knowledge of the web and good data entry skills



  • Professional appearance



  • Valid CA drivers license and clean driving record



  • High school graduate or equivalent
