internet sales manager

Venice Honda is now looking to hire an Automotive Internet Business Development Center (BDC) Manager. You’ll lead the team that turns online and phone inquiries into helpful dealership experiences and sales opportunities. You’ll guide customer communication from first contact through appointment setting and hand off, while keeping the sales pipeline organized and supporting strong customer relationships.

Your impact: By helping the team respond promptly and connect customers with the right vehicle and financing information, you make the buying process clearer for customers and more effective for dealership sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach the BDC sales team; set clear expectations for customer service, phone etiquette, client communication, and achieving sales targets.


• Oversee inbound and outbound sales activity, including follow-up, cold calling, appointment setting, negotiation, up-selling, and deal closing.


• Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline activity in customer relationship management (CRM) software; coordinate technical support for CRM systems as needed.


• Partner with sales, marketing, and inventory teams to share sales support, monitor inventory management and control, and communicate available vehicles and automotive financing options.


• Review team performance and customer interactions; strengthen communication, organizational skills, and consistent sales practices.

Experience

• Required: Sales management experience, customer relationship building, and a record of supporting sales targets. Dealership experience or automotive industry sales experience is valuable.


• Preferred: Automobile or passenger car sales, high-end sales, B2B sales, retail sales, outside sales, and outbound sales experience.


• Demonstrated skills in sales, sales negotiation, negotiation, closing sales, and customer service; familiarity with CRM software and sales pipeline management.


• Strong communication, phone etiquette, math, retail math, and organizational skills. Public speaking experience is helpful.


• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are welcome. Familiarity with inventory management, inventory control, marketing, sales support, and automotive financing options is an advantage.
