Job Description - Internet Sales Used Vehicle Specialist - Automotive Dealership

The primary responsibility of the Used Vehicle Business Development Specialist is to provide timely responses to
incoming dealership leads, supporting the sales team. They diligently monitor and proactively follow up on customer
inquiries received through internet chat and phone channels, consistently delivering exceptional customer service.



This role supports the organization by managing and overseeing the used vehicle inventory to ensure it meets customer demand and expectations. They employ strategic merchandising techniques to make the vehicles visually appealing and enticing to potential buyers.



Job Responsibilities:



  • Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication (phone, email or text)

  • Manage Internet sales leads, respond to inquiries in a timely fashion.

  • Prepares vehicles for display and sale by providing quality checks for damage or malfunction.

  • Manages and oversees used vehicle inventory ensuring stock meets company and customer expectations

  • Organizes and prioritizes workflow through computer applications

  • Researches and verifies vehicle information, collaborating with sales consultants or customer requests.

Job Requirements:



  • Previous customer service experience

  • Previous call center and/or Internet sales experience a plus

  • Sales experience is a plus, NOT required

  • Requires strong communication skills in order to work most effectively with customers
