Position Overview

We are seeking an Internist to provide comprehensive medical care to residents at a nursing home facility in Yonkers. This position offers a competitive base salary with additional incentives and flexible scheduling options. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to nursing home residents
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in the geriatric population
• Conduct physical examinations and develop treatment plans
• Coordinate care with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Participate in care planning meetings and family conferences

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Licensure: Active New York State Medical License
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Experience: New graduates welcome to apply
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, and EHR systems
• Soft Skills: Excellent bedside manner, strong communication skills, empathy, and patience
