Internship Project Overview

The 2024 Human Resources internship will be focused on the recruiting, onboarding, employee development and employee benefit programs. In addition, the human resource intern assist with developing retention strategies and compliance programs supporting both human resources and workplace safety.

The ideal candidate for the 2024 internship should possess skills surrounding communication, Microsoft programs, and documentation systems. The candidate should be comfortable with presenting to multiple levels of leadership within the organization. Organization skills and ability to stay on task with minimal supervision is a plus as the candidate will be tasked with both individual and partnered tasks associated with the project.

Schedule hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm

This is an on-site internship within our corporate office located at 900 Kriner Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202

• Current college student or recent college graduate
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Proficient in data collection and analysis
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be able to work on-site for the duration of the program

The 2024 internship is open to all college grade levels and is currently focused on a summer term internship with the opportunity to extend into fall and/or winter. The 2024 internship is a paid internship, ideally full-time schedule but we can be flexible if a part-time schedule is needed.
