Patient Demographics: Adults 60+

Patient Volume/Census: Hospital consults: 8-14/day; Clinic: 18-24/day

Case Mix: Cardiology, STEMI, TEE

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Cerner

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline: 30 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active AZ License (or eligible)

Board: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Interventional Cardiology

Other Qualifications: Interpersonal and relational skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and manage STEMI patients.

Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) as needed.

See clinic patients (18-24 per day) for interventional cardiology follow-up.

Collaborate with support staff including MAs, PCTs, nurses, and PAs.

Rotate between hospital and clinic settings each week.
