Interventional Radiologist | DO/MD | Decatur, GA)

 Avant Tech is seeking ACR Board-Certified Interventional Radiologists to provide on-site physician services for a federal healthcare system in the Atlanta, GA area. This is a long-term government contract offering stability, purpose-driven work, and the opportunity to serve the Veteran community.

Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, embolization, stent placements, biopsies, ablations, and related treatments.
• Provide patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Participate in peer review and quality improvement activities.
• Provide on-call and call-back coverage as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team and uphold federal healthcare standards.

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

• Board Certified in Radiology (ACR) with subspecialty in Interventional Radiology.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active DEA license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to Veteran care excellence.
  

Schedule & Compensation:

• Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM EST.
• On-Call: Evenings, weekends, and federal holidays as assigned.
• Pay: $249–$276/hr + On-Call rates up to $300/hr.
• Duration: 5-year contract (April 2025 – March 2030).
