Interventional Radiology

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Duties

• Prepare patients for interventional procedures by conducting thorough assessments and obtaining medical histories.
• Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is ready and functioning properly.
• Educate patients and their families about the procedures, potential risks, and post-procedure care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.

Years of Experience: 1 year(s)

Certifications:ACLS, BLS

Travel Experience Required: Yes

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in interventional radiology or critical care nursing is preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of interventional radiology equipment and procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
