Job Description:
Exciting opportunity for Interventional Radiology (IR) Techs in Rochester, NY! We're currently seeking dedicated individuals for a rewarding 13-week contract position. Join us in providing essential care to patients undergoing various interventional radiology procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, embolization, and biopsies, under the direction of a physician.
Operate specialized equipment, such as fluoroscopic and angiographic machines, to visualize and guide procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their comfort and safety throughout procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
Previous experience as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech preferred.
Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a diverse healthcare team.
