Interventional Radiology Technologist - Travel Position

Pay: $3196/week



Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist in diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. The IR Tech will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and support physicians during minimally invasive procedures while ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and experienced in a fast-paced clinical setting.



Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, stent placements, biopsies, and drain insertions.

Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety.

Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment following established protocols.

Administer and monitor contrast agents as required.

Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control standards.

Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.

Support emergency interventions when needed.



Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT (VI) or (CV) certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

COVID vaccine, recent TB test

Minimum 1-year interventional radiology experience (Preferred)
