Interventional Radiology Technologist Assistant/Medical Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Title: Technologist Assistant (hybrid Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Front Desk)

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs, La Quinta

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technologist Assistant, Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our nurses and technologists in the performance of their duties. 

Responsibilities:

- Assist technologists in the preparation of equipment and supplies for procedures

- Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained

- Assist in the positioning of patients for procedures as well as on/off exam table 

- Obtain basic vital signs before and after interventional procedures

- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information

- Assist in the transportation of patients to and from the procedure areas

- Pick up & deliver packages to departments as needed. 

- Return supplies carts to appropriate location 

- Filling department supplies, Filling blanket warmers, Stocking linen

- Check in patients

- Transporting patients

- Room turnover

- Cross trained in all modalities at all locations including interventional procedures. 

- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

- 8 hour shifts (Monday - Friday)

Risk Management: Cooperates fully in all risk management activities and investigations.

Information Management: Treats all information and data within the scope of the position with complete confidentiality and security.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic computer skills

 - License / Certification BLS / CPR

Optional:

- California certified medical assistant (CNA) or medical assistant (MA) certification

- Previous experience in radiology
