Interventionist Radiologist

Avant Tech is in search of a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join our innovative healthcare team. As an Interventional Radiologist, you will be responsible for using minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions using imaging guidance. Your expertise will be critical in providing patients with cutting-edge treatment options that minimize recovery time and enhance overall health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional procedures including angioplasty, stenting, embolization, and biopsies using appropriate imaging techniques.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to develop treatment plans based on patient needs and conditions.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care throughout the procedural continuum, from pre-operative evaluation to post-operative follow-up.
• Document all procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system, ensuring compliance with billing and coding regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about the procedures, potential risks, and recovery processes.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in interventional radiology techniques and technologies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings to foster collaboration and enhance care standards.

• Required Qualifications:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology with a fellowship in Interventional Radiology.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license.
• Hands-on experience performing a wide range of interventional procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and the healthcare team.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with advanced imaging techniques and technologies.
• Previous involvement in research or clinical trials within the field of interventional radiology.
• Commitment to continuing education and staying current with industry developments.
• Experience with pediatric interventional procedures is a plus.
