We are seeking a detail-oriented professional for the position of Inventory Administrative Assistant to support production operations through inventory management, material tracking, and administrative coordination. This role is responsible for researching and resolving material-related issues, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve material shortages, discrepancies, and quality concerns that may impact production schedules.
Review inventory and production reports to identify material availability issues, inaccurate balances, and production delays.
Research outstanding purchase orders, requisitions, and inventory transfers to determine root causes of supply challenges.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Analyze inventory variances and discrepancies; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inventory adjustments, material losses, and usage trends.
Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation efforts.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to track and resolve material flow issues.
Support administrative functions including reporting, documentation, communication, and system updates.
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain organized records and ensure data accuracy within inventory and production systems.
Generate reports and provide updates regarding inventory status and material availability.
Support communication between departments to facilitate issue resolution and workflow efficiency.
Perform general administrative duties such as filing, document management, and coordination activities.
Qualifications
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse administration, production support, or a related administrative role preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and inventory or ERP systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a US Citizen and commuting distance to Erlanger, KY.
Work Environment
Day shift.
Combination of office and warehouse settings.
Regular computer use and movement throughout the facility.
Exposure to standard warehouse conditions, including dust, materials, and varying temperatures.
