ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)
· Receive orders; conducts and documents a preliminary inspection to report any immediate damages or shortages of needed items and logs items in electronic inventory database.
· Communicates with the suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues with orders and supplies
· Organize orders received in the designated quarantine area.
· Maintains and updates a checklist of inventory areas for supply rotation and proper storage of items.
· Maintain Electronic Supply log and arrange for Purchase Orders as needed from the Senior Inventory Specialist
· Ensure daily stocking of the clinical supply room, all cabinets and other specified areas with all necessary supplies for various NDN departments and purposes.
· Maintain list of expiration dates of supplies to be used in the current year.
· Maintain item specification sheets and generate non-conformances for items that are out of compliance.
· Acquire and maintain Certificates of Analysis for required supplies.
· Ability to read, interpret and follow Standard Operating Procedures as set by the company, and guidelines set by regulatory agencies, to include but not limited to: Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN), American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA), Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) , American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
· Participate in the development and achievement of individual scorecards to reflect individual, departmental and company goals.
· Process Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.
· Enter and maintain data in the Q-pulse application to include but not limited to: Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CA/PA), Supplier, Customer, and Assets Mod
· Maintain status and control of all Purchase Request, Purchase Orders and Receiving slips as required. Maintenance includes, but is not limited to creation, routing, receiving, scanning and filing in electronic material tracking database.
· Maintain clean and safe inventory stock rooms and individual work areas.
· Deliver all packages to NDN employees.
· Monitors temperature devices in storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers, and responds to alarms on those devices
· Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of company facilities, including building systems, appliances, and outdoor spaces.
· Assist in maintenance of company vehicles, including but not limited to arranging oil changes, ensuring timely fueling, cleanings, and other related tasks
· In conjunction with clinical teams, ensure proper stock of supplies and inventory at recovery sites in proper secured storage locations, including delivery of items to these sites as needed
· Other duties assigned.
Education: High school or GED Experience: Two of more years of experience in an inventory or warehouse position in a regulated industry, maintenance of an electronic inventory management system strongly preferred.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of accounting software. Working knowledge of inventory management software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to Word and Excel. Proficiency of Q-pulse data tracking software or equivalent.
