Inventory Associate

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Building Materials Team as an Inventory Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Star’s success and grow your career.

The ideal candidate is a team player who is detail oriented. This self-starter will be ready to jump into the daily inventory processes. Our inventory team is critical in the execution of our daily receiving activities, deliveries, and overall inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

· Perform daily receiving activities which may include:

-Unloading of incoming deliveries (physical and using forklift)

-Verifying quantities against PO.

-Organize and place into identified area.

-Proper labeling of all products.

-Receiving into WMS.

· Check outgoing delivery loads material accuracy.

· Assist in regular cycle counting and inventory audits.

· Collaborate with team members.

· Facilitating shipping through UPS and FedEx.

· Follow all safety procedures and personal protection requirements.

Qualifications:

· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.

· Physical stamina to lift 50lbs repetitively/100 lbs. in a team lift.

· Aptitude to operate a forklift or prior certification.

· Computer skills: Web based programs, Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· 18 Years or older.

· Follows all PPE Requirements.

Preferred Experience

· Previous Warehouse or Inventory experience.

· Knowledge of Warehouse Management System or BisTrack
