Laramie Auto Center is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Used Car Buyer to join our team. As a Used Car Buyer, you will be responsible for evaluation and acquiring used vehicles for our inventory. If you have a deep understanding of the used car market, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for quality, we encourage you to apply. we’re looking to add a passionate problem-solver to our winning team and help us continue a legacy of excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Research and identify potential sources of used cars, including auctions and private sellers.


• Inspect and appraise vehicles to determine their condition, value, and market potential.


• Negotiate purchase prices and terms with sellers, striving for the best possible deals.


• Stay up to date on market trends, values, and demand for different makes and models.


• Maintain accurate records of purchases and sales.


• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure inventory meets customer demands.


• Uphold ethical and legal standards in all transactions.


• Provide excellent customer service to sellers and vendors.

What You’ll Bring

• Prefer experience in buying used cars, ideally in a dealership or automotive industry.


• Strong communication skills.


• Detail-oriented with the ability to assess a vehicle’s condition accurately.


• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for inspections and purchases.


• Understanding of legal and ethical consideration in the used car buying process.
