Job Description - Inventory Control Clerk 2 - 2nd Shift
Schedule: Sun-Thurs, 4pm-1am
Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Clerk 2 is a key position within our manufacturing plants and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards by fully embracing the Company’s Manufacturing Excellence philosophy. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production. The Inventory Control Clerk 2’s role is to support the warehouse and production associates with achieving their tasks accurately and efficiently.

What you will Do:
Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP, and Sanitation, FIFO and Food Safety guidelines and procedures.
Masters a subdivision of the warehouse (Raw Materials, Condiments, Packaging and Supplies and Finished Goods) Note: Details to be reviewed at interview.
Supports inventory management, completing accurate daily inventory cycle counts of raw and finished product. Take inventory counts with a handheld device and use DSI and JDE computer software to fix discrepancies accordingly.
Adjust inventory discrepancies systematically accordingly. Keep close communication with the WHS Inv coordinator on significant adjustments to maintain control on our IA weekly scorecard.
Daily warehouse checks of products ensuring quality and reporting any discrepancies. Research any irregularities as they arise and communicate to Warehouse management and Demand Planning teams on any discrepancies identified.
Monitor / Report aged inventory on FG / Raw material accordingly for possible shelf life extension to reduce exposure.
Enter inventory into the system using the DSI Scanner and ensure all items and warehouse locations have barcodes.
Oversees racking conditions and reports any noncompliance/damaged structures to the management team.
Leads the WHS sub-department of Fiscal Year End Inventory.
Supports shipping and receiving functions as needed.
Provide guidance on incorrect inventory transactions to the warehouse material handlers.
Supports Out Of Rotation Dumps and Donations initiatives for the entire plant.
Assists with audit documentation.
Assists in reducing the Blank location issues for Raw Material.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule flexibility based on business demand.
Qualifications and Requirements
Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong math skills.
Strong computer skills and ability to multitask.
Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24-hour plant environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma/equivalent.
Inventory experience
Good Analytical Skills
Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedules if needed.
Forklift/ Pallet Jack Experience
Scanner / Office Equipment knowledge
Strong computer skills and ability to multitask. Microsoft( Word and Excel)
Team Player
Able to lift up to 50 lbs using approved lifting techniques.
