Inventory Control Coordinator

Inventory responsibility 

Generate Cycle Counts in accordance with the schedule set forth by the accounting manager. 

Approve Cycle Counts less than $1500 in variance when completed. 

• Report results on a weekly basis to Shipping & Receiving Manager.  Report any large variances from the cycle counts to the purchasing department and plant manager.  

• Audit inventory in all locations. 

• Assist Plants with all inventory questions and assistance.  Inventory “Power User” for all locations. 

• Complete Adjustments to sales order in MRP environment as needed to problem-solve shipping issues. 

• Lead year-end physical inventory and other special inventories throughout the year. 

• Responsible for all the coordination for customer requested disposition items and any other related inventory requests. Complete customer packaging shrinks on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis depending on each customer’s requirements. 

Manage & coordinate all inner plant transfers. 

Monitor & assist with follow disposition for aging/expiration items. 

Lead & monitor the staging & restocking process.  

Coordinate & Report on the new inbound barcoding process  

Report & assemble the regrind schedules and monthly reporting.  

Set up warehouse locations as needed. 

Assist plant employees with ST/OT transactions 

Assist the Shipping & Receiving Manager on any projects or analysis as needed. 

Perform other related duties as . 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability ). 

• Education: High School Diploma Required. Two-year college degree in related field preferred.  May substitute experience in accounting for education on a year-for-year basis. 

• Experience: Two years prior experience in supply chain required.  Prior accounting experience desirable.  Preference will be given to those with applicable experience. 

• Two years of experience in a lead or supervisor role, leading, assigning work, performance management, and coaching, counseling, and disciplining, and approving timecards.  

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is , especially with Excel. 

• Basic math skills i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages.  

• Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals. 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner. 

• Ability to multi-task.
