Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Inventory Control Associates and Data Coordinators across levels I–III
- Plan, schedule, and monitor cycle counts, bin audits, and variance investigations
- Assist with the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of material movements
- Ensure all findings are documented clearly and escalated as needed to the Inventory Manager
- Validate and approve inventory reports and dashboards prepared by the Data Coordinator team
- Enforce inventory SOPs and contribute to improvements in procedures and training
- Ensures policies are adhered to, escalates
- Assist in preparing for and executing internal and external inventory audits
- Serve as the primary liaison with Receiving, Materials, and Production for issue resolution
- Provide coaching, feedback, and development support for team members
- Operate forklifts and handheld scanning equipment as needed
- Perform other duties across the inventory department as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Advanced understanding of inventory accuracy principles and cycle count methodologies
- Comfortable with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, filters) and ERP systems
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to mentor peers and lead cross-functional processes
- Previous forklift certification required
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in logistics, inventory, or operations preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse or inventory experience, 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
- Prior experience supporting cycle count programs and production order reporting required
