The Inventory Control Lead is responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations while ensuring the accuracy, organization, and timely movement of materials throughout the department. This role provides leadership and guidance to inventory personnel and coordinates inventory activities. A successful Inventory Control Lead is detail-oriented, dependable, process-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and operational excellence.

What You Do 

• Serves as the primary point of contact for inventory-related issues while leading daily inventory activities. 


• Inspects incoming materials to verify quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.


• Keeps inventory organized, labeled, and properly stored while maintaining accurate inventory records.


• Coordinates the preparation and staging of materials to support production and mixing schedules.


• Lead physical inventory activities, investigate discrepancies, and implement solutions to improve inventory accuracy.


• Train, support, and mentor inventory team members while promoting safe work practices and following standard operating procedures.


• Looks for ways to improve inventory processes, material flow, and overall efficiency.


• Support departmental goals.

What You Bring

• The ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (e.g., 30-50 lbs or more), and move with agility is crucial. 


• Strong physical coordination is necessary for safely and effectively handling equipment and products. 


• Basic math skills for inventory tracking, order accuracy, and other logistical tasks.

Schedule

• Full-time on-site position, Monday through Friday


• Occasional overtime is required.
