Inventory Control Manager III

PPS is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Manager III for our semiconductor support industry facility in Hillsboro. This is a full-time permanent position with excellent benefits and a high ceiling for growth!

The primary responsibility of the Inventory Control Specialist III is to develop analytics and tools to improve site-wide inventory levels and process controls.

Responsibilities:

• Manages inventory programs, including inventory estimates and analyses, maintenance of metrics tracked, reporting to management, and resolution of inventory issues that arise
• Pro-Actively increases turns by customer product and meets corporate goals.
• Provides recommendations for purchasing strategies, inventory disposition, and inventory management.
• Provides recommendations for improved planning and demand management solutions to mitigate inventory growth.
• ECN control and disposition follow up for affected material.
• Final review and reconciliation of work order variance and closure.
• Coordinates product transfers to other company manufacturing sites.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Strong presentation skills at all levels
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles, procedures, and standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Strong Excel and Access skills.
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems including SAP
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across many levels of the organization, and on inter-site basis.
• Bachelor's degree in Business/equivalent experience
• APICS certification preferred
• 8+ years inventory analyst experience
• Cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing experience as scheduler, planner or buyer a plus.
