Description
Jaxon is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will possess experience in receiving inspection and inventory. Will have a proven track record of reviewing, scanning, and recording or records retention. The candidate will be able to work independently, while being a part of a team to support project priorities to meet the operations schedule. The candidate will have strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify issues in documentation or traceability requirements.
Salary: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
Required Travel: None
Security Clearance: Able to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret clearance or higher.

Primary Duties:
- Responsible for inspection and taking inventory of incoming, project-related materials, ensuring they meet quality standards
- Inspect, label, and organize incoming materials and required documentation
- Complete inspections of documentation for materials and commercial off-the-shelf items
- Verify certificates of conformance and other traceable documentation by organizing, saving, and reviewing data for accuracy
- Ensure all documentation is properly created, shared, and communicated with key stakeholders
- Work closely with project management teams to provide inventory support on upcoming and ongoing projects in a timely manner
- Archive, scan, and maintain all applicable records associated with the incoming materials
- Work with operations teams to kit parts together for next steps in manufacturing
Other Duties:
- Support ISO 9001:2015 Certification Quality Management procedures throughout shipping/receiving and inventory management
- Support government property inventory programs and additional shipping/receiving requirements
- Assist with quality checks and end item data package (EIDP) documentation on finished items ready for delivery
- Adhere to and sustain implemented performance of quality control system to ensure effectiveness and efficiency across multiple departments (Engineering, Construction, Sustainment, and Business Operations)
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- HS diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in inventory, warehouse, documentation, traceability, or records retention
- Experience with receiving and inventory management software, MS Office, Adobe, and/or Bluebeam .pdf software required
- Familiarity with parts lists, bills of materials, product lifecycle management (PLM), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems a plus
- Class 5 Forklift Certification preferred, or ability to obtain one in the first 2 months of employment required
- Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, etc. with ability to lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and able to multi-task
- Dependable, strong work ethic, and able to work independently
- Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated and well organized with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
