Job Description - Inventory Coordinator


Trindco Premium Countertops is hiring an Inventory Coordinator to manage our slab and sink inventory and handle purchase orders, job setup, and portal updates for our Home Depot and Lowe's accounts. This is a hybrid role — roughly 60-70% computer-based and 30-40% in the slab yard/warehouse — and is not customer-facing. You'll work closely with our Purchasing and Accounting team, who will lead your training.

What you'll do

  • Close out purchase orders and update job information in the Home Depot and Lowe's portals
  • Set up jobs in Moraware (our production system) for Home Depot and Lowe's work
  • Perform slab inventory using barcode scanning and reconcile discrepancies
  • Receive incoming sinks — verify counts against POs and receive in Moraware
  • Maintain the organization of our sink storage area
  • Stage sinks for next-day installations, directing forklift and material handling help
  • Take on additional projects and support work as you grow into the role

This is a position with real range. The first few months focus on cleaning up inventory and getting our retail account workflow running consistently. As that stabilizes, the role expands into broader support for the right person.

  

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hourly.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented — small data-entry errors create downstream problems, and we need someone who catches them before they happen
  • Comfortable on a PC and quick to learn new software and web portals
  • Process-minded — able to take a messy workflow and bring structure to it
  • Comfortable directing warehouse help
  • Clear written communication for routine emails with retail account contacts
  • Prior experience in inventory, purchasing, warehouse coordination, parts/operations, logistics, or vendor portal administration is preferred
  • Experience with retailer portals (Moraware, Home Depot, Lowe's, or similar) is a plus, not a requirement
  • High school diploma or equivalent
