Inventory Cycle Counter - Rapid Progression

Are you ready for a new career? We can help! Staffmark has a new opportunity just for you as an Inventory Cycle Counter in Houston, TX, to work Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, and pays $16-$18 per hour depending on experience.

The Inventory Cycle Counter will be responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. Duties include activities to maintain inventory accuracy through proper processing of material receipts, transfers, and issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cycle count materials on a daily basis or as scheduled
• Review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity
• Ensure materials are in proper locations.
• Breakdown boxes and pallets as necessary
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times.
• Maintain neat, clean and orderly warehouse appearance.
• Operate a standup forklift, reach truck and other warehouse equipment.

Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred to communicate effectively with warehouse personnel in both languages. One year of experience with inventory control, warehouse cycle counts, moderate math and analytical skills, and good communication skills. Experience with product knowledge with flanges, fittings, and pipe. Excellent work ethic with the ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team plater. Computer kills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, self-starter, and ability to work independently and with a team. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb and move about the facility. Lift 50 pounds occasionally, work overtime as necessary including Saturdays, experience operating a sit-down forklift, stand-up reach truck or picker preferred.
