This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.\n\nThis role would join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. Our domain provides rewarding work that contributes to the latest advancements being made in the space manufacturing industry. \n \nMaterial Control personnel are responsible for a variety of processes. Their workload is provided by the various roles of planning team. \n \nThis position demands strong attention to detail and will provide support to our stores team.\n\nThis position will work a 9/80B schedule, 7AM - 4:30PM with every other Friday off.\n\nJob responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\n * Process and pick material for manufacturing orders\n * All materials sent to the production floor must be counted and verified. Some items will require hand counting, while others will be counted using a counting scale.\n * Kit Auditing to ensure all counts are accurate prior to release to production.\n * Staging material via pallet jack to move heavier items.\n * Record time spent on each project.\n * Process account transfers. (material will remain in stock until issue request is submitted)\n * Perform cycle counts at the beginning of the shift.\n * Access material from higher locations by using a ladder or elevating work platform. (training required)\n * Deliver small priority requests via low-speed vehicle. (training required)\n\n\n\n * Other duties as assigned\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * High School diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience related experience. \n\n\n * No clearance required to start\n\n\n * Must be a US citizen \n * 1 year experience in a stockroom/warehouse environment.\n * Candidate must be able to work independently or collaboratively as a team to meet deadlines.\n * Must have a Valid driver\u2019s license\n * Must be able to lift 25 lbs. by hand.\n * Must be able to work overtime.\n * Able to organize tasks and time to ensure the timely completion of all projects.\n * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multi-task.\n * Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience with logistics/warehouse.\n\n\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
