INVENTORY ORDER PROCESSOR

Position Summary

The Inventory Order Processor will be responsible for accurately processing work orders through the Inventory Management System. The ideal candidate will have the ability to focus and concentrate for extended period of time, work closely with shop employees and billing to ensure the accuracy of a work order. This position must also communicate and work with other departments to bring resolution to any issues. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Receive work orders from shop and properly log them into daily into spreadsheet
• Use work order to select the inventory item in the database and post the back to stock inventory item
• Review the cutting register report and confirm the information is correct, then update the system
• Interact with the shop to resolve issues regarding inefficiencies or provide additional information as requested 
• Assist in developing and achieving departmental goals; make suggestions for process improvement
• Must be able to think critically and problem solve
• Advanced math skills with the ability to add, subtract, divide, multiply all units of measures
• Other duties assigned

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in relevant computer applications, including Excel Spreadsheet and MS Office
• Strong understanding of inventory control processes
• Extremely attentive to detail
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Must have a working knowledge of basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying all units of measures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be highly organized and efficient

The following environment/atmospheric working conditions are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. 

• Exposure to noise, chemicals, and materials due to shop environment
• Office environment is predominately sedentary
• Occasional standing, walking, and lifting; at least 20 lbs.
