Inventory Photographer

 Position Summary:
As an Inventory Photographer at Colton RV & Marine, you will play an essential role in showcasing our wide range of new and pre-owned RVs and boats. Through high-quality photography and videography, you’ll help create an engaging visual experience for potential customers both locally and across the country. In this dynamic role, you will manage inventory photos and videos, assist with event and show coverage, and support our digital content strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our marketing team and become an expert in the RV and marine industry.

Essential Functions:

• Photography & Videography:
  • Capture high-quality images and videos of RVs, trailers, and boats for website listings, marketing materials, and social media platforms.
  • Ensure proper staging, lighting, and angles to highlight the unique features of our inventory.
  • Edit and optimize photos and videos using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) to ensure consistent branding and visual excellence.
• Social Media & Digital Content Support:
  • Curate and develop engaging content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce promotional materials, including customer testimonials and event recaps.
  • Track digital engagement metrics and adjust content strategies based on audience interaction.
• Event & Show Support:
  • Capture real-time content at dealership events, RV shows, and expos, providing dynamic photos and videos that showcase the brand.
  • Assist with event setup, signage, promotional materials, and live coverage.
• Inventory Management:
  • Manage and update inventory photos and videos to ensure all vehicles are properly represented.
  • Review website listings and coordinate with lot/driver assistance for staging and photos.
  • Identify and address missing photos to ensure a complete online inventory display.

Education, Experience, and Work Requirements:

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Media Production, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in photography/videography, preferably in a retail or dealership setting. Previous photography experience is a plus, but not required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro).
• Work Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and around large vehicles.
  • Must have cell phone/computer skills and be able to lift, bend, walk, and work outside.
